Fr Denzil Meuli – Celebrates 90th Birthday

Congratulations to Fr Denzil Meuli who celebrated his 90th birthday on Sunday, 18 September, at the Home of the Little Sisters of the Poor.  Many of Fr Meuli’s former parishioners were in attendance to celebrate his birthday, some attending from other parts of New Zealand; many are parishioners of Mount St Mary’s Titirangi where Fr Meuli served as parish priest from 1989 up until his retirement just a few years ago.  All remember, appreciate and love Fr Meuli for his dedication to the Traditional Latin Mass, the sacraments and his pro life work in defence of unborn children. “P.D. Juventutem – World Youth Day, Krakow, 2016

FSSP – Ezechiel House Fundraising for Seminarians

The Priestly Fraternity has the good news that there are now eight seminarians studying for the priesthood from Australasia, which includes three seminarians from New Zealand.  All Seminary fees are paid by Ezechiel House (the FSSP novitiate in Australia) at A$14,000 per year per seminarian.  With the increasing numbers of seminarians the FSSP is fundraising on behalf of Ezechiel House.   Accordingly, at its AGM on 3 July the Ecclesia Dei Society of New Zealand resolved to donate $1,500 to Ezechiel House towards the fees of the New Zealand seminarians.  We are able to do that through the continuing generosity of...
