Chartres Pilgrimage – Chartres Cathedral – Recessional Hymn Chez Nous: “Be with us. Be our queen. We are yours.”

Remnant Newspaper reports: “After three days walking from Paris to Chartres, the glorious traditional Latin Mass is offered in the cathedral. In this clip we see the the recessional, which is the singing of the Chez Nous — the love song to Our Lady. In English it means: “Be with us. Be our queen. We are yours.” Bishop Athanasius Schneider is seen first here, along with the bishop of Chartres and so many traditional Catholic priests. The recessional also includes the flags and banners from parishes and traditional Catholic centres from all over the world”. https://www.facebook.com/TheRemnantNewspaper/videos/900274270035980/?fref=nf

Pentecost Pilgrimage to Chartres 2015 – Sermon of Bishop Athanasius Schneider – Pentecost Sunday

“In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. So be it. My dear brothers and sisters, today we celebrate the solemnity of Pentecost, calling to mind the visible descent of the Holy Spirit on the apostles, when the Holy Spirit filled the faithful hearts with his Divine presence and imbued their souls with his seven gifts and especially the gift of divine love. What Does Opposition to the Traditional Mass Really Signify?

by Peter Kwasniewski In the post-Summorum world, the ancient Roman Rite can no longer be considered forbidden, dubious, marginal, or obsolete. It enjoys equal rights of citizenship with the Novus Ordo: two forms of the Roman Rite—one called Ordinary because most recently promulgated and more widely used, the other called Extraordinary, the usus antiquior, deserving respect for its venerable use—with each able to be freely celebrated by any priest of the Roman Rite, no special permission needed. One would think that, as a gesture of reconciliation at the heart of the Church, the two forms would be flourishing side by...
