  We all enjoyed “God-filled days” during the retreat this year held at the Mary MacKillop Centre in Auckland, a beautiful setting overlooking the Hauraki Gulf in Kohimarama near Mission Bay. The Latin Mass Society of New Zealand congratulates Bishop John Adams on his consecration as Bishop of Palmerston North. Bishop Adams was appointed by Pope Francis on 22 June 2023 and his episcopal ordination took place in the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit in Palmerston North on 30 September 2023, which was a day of great rejoicing for the Church in New Zealand and the parishes of Palmerston North.  Deo Gratias!
