Maryfest is a Marian Procession with the Consecration of the City and Diocese held annually in honour of Our Lady of Christchurch whose protecting image formerly stood in the old Cathedral tower and since the great earthquake is venerated at each year’s mind.   The procession will be presided over by His Lordship, Most Rev.
